After the release of debut EP Neptune in 2018 and recent experimental solo projects ‘Daze’ and ‘Moon Outside’, Rowe has received support from BBC Introducing in The South West and features on recent single ‘Timber’ with Ultra Records latest signing, Dutchkid. Now joined by good friends Ayu Raditya Issac on the bass and Emelie Eckerud on drums, Rowe returns with the upcoming single ‘Apple’ and the promise of a collection of her most exciting work to date. Taking inspiration from the likes of Florist, Mazzy Star, Big Thief, Sharon Van Etten and Aldous Harding. This alt-indie trio is intent on sharing their tapestry of eerie vocals, biting melodies and dreamy instrumentals. Rowe now returns with new single 'Apple'. Featuring multi-instrumentalist Anna Baily on the trumpet, Apple delivers a powerful statement regarding the pressures on womb-owners within society. The track has already received an enthusiastic response from Rowe’s loyal fans and ‘Upload of the Week’ from BBC Introducing. Speaking on the process of writing Apple, Rowe says, ‘After exploring my thoughts on the pressures of motherhood and the misogyny placed upon womb-owners futures, I began to think about how hard it is for the people who decide they don’t want something society deems desirable. When I was little, I believed that you would grow into a tree if you swallowed an apple seed. I thought if I could become a tree, maybe I would feel a little more useful'.
