About Río Roma

Mexican brothers José Luis Ortega Castro and Raúl Ortega Castro have been crafting their brand of hot Latin pop and smoldering ballads as Río Roma since 2011. ∙ Río Roma’s debut LP, Al Fin Te Encontré, received a 2011 Latin Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Album by a Duo or Group with Vocals. ∙ Released in 2014, the pair’s EP Hoy Es un Buen Día reached No. 32 on ∙ In addition to his duties as Río Roma’s primary songwriter, José Luis has also penned Mexican radio hits for other Latin artists, including 2019’s “Caballero” for vocalist Alejandro Fernández. ∙ Mexican superstar Thalía joined Río Roma for the hit 2020 single and video for “Lo Siento Mucho.”
