RIO KOSTA is a Los Angeles-based musical duo comprised of Mike Del Rio and Kosta Galanopoulos, known for their genre-fluid sound that blends psychedelic soul, psych-rock, funk, disco, R&B, and Americana with hypnotic grooves and sleek vocal harmonies. The duo's music is often described as timeless, drawing inspiration from the past while maintaining a fresh, contemporary energy. Their debut album, "Unicorn," was released on July 18, 2025, and includes singles such as "Ancients / It's Starting" and "Higher". In support of their album, RIO KOSTA performed intimate launch shows in Los Angeles and Miami in July 2025. The duo has expressed aspirations for international touring, with a wishlist including Asia, South America, and Europe, alongside a North American road trip.
