Rim'K, born Abdelkrim Brahmi on June 21, 1978, in Vitry-sur-Seine, is a French-Algerian rapper and producer. A founding member of Mafia K'1 Fry and part of the iconic group 113, he rose to fame in the 2000s with the group's debut album Les Princes de la Ville, which won 2 Victoires de la Musique. Over its career, 113 released 5 gold-certified albums. In 2004, Rim'K launched a successful solo career with L'Enfant du Pays, also certified gold, and remains a key figure in French rap. Throughout his career, he collaborated with major music stars such as Daft Punk, Mobb Deep, DJ Mehdi, and Booba. With nearly 20 albums, over 100 music videos, and appearances in 4 films, he has inspired generations. In 2024, he made history as the first French-speaking rapper to perform at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony. Known as "Tonton," his close connection with fans and community involvement solidify his legacy.
