About Return to Dust

Post-grunge

Return to Dust is a Los Angeles-based post-grunge band, formed in 2022, that blends the grit of 1990s grunge with contemporary alternative metal, drawing heavy influence from bands like Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, and Nirvana. Comprising Matty Bielawski (guitar, vocals), Graham Stanush (bass, vocals), Sebastian Gonzalez (guitar), and London Hudson (drums), the quartet is recognized for their dual lead vocals, gritty guitar riffs, dynamic drumming, and alluring bass lines. After releasing their debut EP *Black Road* in July 2023, and a self-titled full-length album in May 2024, the band released their *Speak Like the Dead* EP in August 2025, featuring singles like "Bored" and "Shine". Recent endeavors include extensive touring in 2025 with acts such as Billy Corgan and The Machines of God, Pop Evil, Dorothy, Breaking Benjamin, and Three Days Grace. They also made appearances at major festivals like Louder Than Life and Aftershock in 2025. As of November 2025, Return to Dust was touring in support of Mammoth and Myles Kennedy, and they have confirmed appearances at European festivals like Rock im Park, Rock am Ring, and Download in 2026. The band has garnered praise for their "Alice In Chains-inspired form of modern-day grunge" and has seen significant engagement with their music on platforms like TikTok.
