Queralt Lahoz is a Spanish singer born in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, whose music seamlessly blends flamenco, copla, and bolero traditions with contemporary genres like hip-hop, soul, R&B, and dancehall. Her powerful and distinctive voice allows her to navigate effortlessly between a classic bolero and 90s-style rap. Lahoz's lyrics often draw from her upbringing in a humble, Andalusian-migrant neighborhood on the outskirts of Barcelona, reflecting the daily experiences of her friends and family, and paying homage to the working women who have inspired her. Lahoz released her first EP, "1917," in 2019, followed by her debut studio album, "Pureza," in 2021. She gained significant international recognition after winning a Music Moves Europe Award in 2023, which led to an extensive tour across Europe and the United States. In her latest endeavors, Queralt Lahoz is set to release her second full-length album, "9:30 PM," on April 4, 2025, which has been anticipated by the single "YNEPN". The album, her second long-play after "Pureza" (2021) and the acclaimed "Alto Cielo" (2023) EP, is described as a deeply personal work with fifteen autobiographical songs. She has an active touring schedule into 2025 and 2026, with performances planned across Spain, Argentina, the Netherlands, and at the La Linea 2026 London Latin Festival in May 2026.
