Emerging from Panama City in 2005, Pureza Natural has become a cornerstone of Latin American reggae, blending roots rhythms with elements of jazz, funk, and indigenous Panamanian sounds. Founded by Edwin Hosoomel and Marco Moreau, the band quickly gained recognition with their debut album Mundo de Hoy (2006), featuring standout tracks like “Fire” and “Verde Aqua” . Their self-titled 2010 album solidified their place in the reggae scene, showcasing hits such as “Emociones Tantas,” “A Media Luz,” and the collaborative track “Ya Pocos Quedan” featuring Lilo Sanchez of the also legendary band Señor Loop. In 2015, they relead Larga Distancia, an album that reflects their musical evolution by incorporating rock, jazz, blues, funk, and traditional Panamanian folklore. Notable songs from this album include “Memoria Azul,” “Eco de tu Voz,” and “Inna Different Estilo” .
