Pretty With The Lights Out is horror punk from Indianapolis, Indiana. Inspired by horror punk favorites, Misfits, Wednesday 13 and punk-metal infused musical stylings of Gwar! In the studio, Pretty With The Lights Out is Nate Laff. On stage, you will find him as the vocalist and lead guitarist with hired gun musicians filling out drums, bass and rhythm guitar. In March 2023, Pretty With The Lights Out released their debut EP, Pumpkin Spice Formaldehyde, featuring previously released singles, as well as two new tracks. The self-proclaimed ‘darlings of Horrorpunk’ had this to say about the release: Pumpkin Spice Formaldehyde is a hauntingly fast-paced and dynamic EP racing you through adventures in pumpkin carving clubs, the thrills & romance of the drive-in, and revenge, all culminating in a lovely stroll through Tolkien’s Middle-earth as you’re taken down to Goblin Town. Whatever corner of horror appeals to you, there is something for everyone. Nate has also contributed to recorded works of horror punk legend Tracy Byrd (TB Monstrosity of Blitzkid and A Gathering of None) with DRAGNUN's debut EP Appalachian Black Hearts. Additionally, Nate is the live guitarist and occasional recording player for Adam Stoner. You can hear Nate's guitar work on Adam's cover of You Should See Me in a Crown.
