About Potochkine

Potochkine is a French darkrave duo, composed of Pauline and Hugo from Toulon, known for their unique blend of cold wave, darkwave, EBM, electroclash, post-punk, industrial, and techno influences. Their sound is characterized by a powerful, tenebrous vocal chant, coupled with the tense rhythmic energy of EBM and techno, and often infused with poetic themes. They are noted for reinventing EBM with elements of synthpunk and cold wave. In recent endeavors, Potochkine announced their upcoming album, "Sang d'Encre," which was set for release on October 10th, 2025. This album features singles like "BI" and "Endorphines," with a music video for "Endorphines" having been released on June 21, 2024. A "Qual Remix" of "Endorphines" also emerged in 2024. The duo has a history of performing at various festivals, including Waveteef, BIM Fest, Amphi Festival, and WGT (Gothic Pogo), and a live video from August 2024 at Albani music club in Switzerland is also available. Their previous album, "Sortilèges," was released on March 21, 2021, followed by a remix album titled "Dans Le Club".
