Peshay is a name synonymous with music production. One of the originators and pioneers of drum and bass. Since 1991, he has recorded for labels such as Reinforced Records, Good Looking Records, Metalheadz, Razors Edge, Photek Productions, Mo Wax, Island Records, V Recordings, Tru Thoughts, De-Tuned, Liquid V, Basement Records, Cubik Music Productions, Infrared, Street Beats, Creative Source, 2000AD Recordings, Formation, & Nexus Records. He has also remixed Artists such as DJ Shadow, Goldie, Photek, LTJ Bukem, Galliano, Ruby, Salt Water Fish, Rob D, Ingrid Schroeder, Innerzone Orchestra-Carl Craig, Inner City, Courtney Pine, Cleveland Watkiss (Project 23), Jaydee, Sugizo, DJ Die, Cloud 9, Adam F, Silent Poets, A Forest Mighty Black, United Future Organization, Towa Tei, Underwolves, Aphrodite, Micky Finn, The Loose Cannons, Xaver Fischer Trio, Harleighblu amongst others. Peshay has been DJing since the mid-1980s and has performed all over the world. He has DJ'd at events such as Dreamscape, The Hacienda, Heaven, The Eclipse, Fantazia, Cream, Renaissance, Dance Paradise, Legends Of The Dark Black, Essential Festival, One Nation, Glastonbury, Montreux Jazz Festival & many more. In 2001 Peshay won best Drum and Bass DJ at the DJ Awards ceremony held in Pacha, Ibiza, Spain. In 2019 Peshay started his own imprint Peshay Music. The label will be a melting pot of music from all different styles & tempos from Drum and bass, Breakbeat, House, Jazz, Funk, & Boogie amongst others.
