Pentire is a four-piece indie rock/pop band from Herefordshire, England, known for their "indie music for the post-jangle generation" sound, blending alternative rock with pop sensibilities. The band consists of Jack Morgan (vocals/guitar), Owen Seymour (guitar), Jacob Beswetherick (bass), and Josh Blake (drums). They craft stories of student life and a small-town upbringing, drawing influences from bands like The Killers, Paolo Nutini, and Stereophonics. In their latest endeavors, Pentire released their new EP "Love On TV" in February 2025, which includes the standout track "Being Underwater," exploring themes of isolation and navigating life. Following the EP's release, the band embarked on a UK tour starting February 13, 2025. In June 2024, they kicked off the festival season by playing the Dot To Dot Festival and had planned appearances at Live at Leeds In The City and Golden Touch festival. They also released the track "Don't Let Your Love (Let You Down)" in June 2024. Earlier, in February 2023, Pentire released the song "Spinning," following their April 2022 release "Fading Out". The band has a history of sold-out UK tours and performances at major festivals such as Truck, YNot, Isle of Wight, and Splendour.
