Paolo Ferrara is a boundary-pushing Italian DJ and producer known for his hard techno, techno, acid techno, and tekno sounds, often fused into a style he calls "TechnoMetal" which blends hard techno with metal elements. He is also a co-founder and DJ resident of the HEX movement. Ferrara's career has seen recent success, with his 2024 breakout track “Last Resort” hitting #1 on the Hard Techno charts, followed by other popular tracks like “Duality” and “Sweet Dreams,” both topping 1 million streams on Spotify. He is known for delivering explosive sets with a balance of high-voltage intensity and profound emotional depth, envisioning music as an unlimited form of artistic expression. Ferrara continues to be active with numerous upcoming festival appearances and club events scheduled throughout 2025 and 2026, including performances at Airbeat One Festival, Tomorrowland, Exit Festival, and SoundVault Festival.
