ONYVAA is a California-raised DJ, producer, and label founder based in Paris, France, known for her powerful and driving techno sound infused with elements of acid techno, dub techno, and influences from Detroit and Chicago, often incorporating analog touches and field recordings into her tracks. She is the owner of her Parisian-based underground label, Passeport Records, which serves as an outlet for her original productions with full creative control. ONYVAA has garnered significant acclaim, with Richie Hawtin calling her "the future of techno," and receiving a 'Best Newcomer' award at the DJ Awards in Ibiza. She has performed at major international festivals and clubs including Awakenings, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Printworks, Circoloco, Amnesia, Hï Ibiza, and EDC, delivering impactful modular live shows and DJ sets. Her productions have been released on respected labels such as Charlotte de Witte's KNTXT and Richie Hawtin's Plus 8, earning her support from industry heavyweights like Carl Cox and Laurent Garnier. In her latest endeavors, ONYVAA debuted on Factory 93 Records in January 2026 with her two-track EP, 'State of Flow / Between Worlds'. This release showcases a shift in her sound, blending hypnotic techno with more organic house and trance elements, aiming to move both the body and something deeper. She is also scheduled to perform in New York City on March 27, 2026, and at the 909 Festival 2026 in Amsterdamse Bos on June 6, 2026. Previous recent performances include NatureOne 2024 and 909 Festival 2024. She also released the 'Valley Of Fire' EP on KNTXT's sub-label RPM in July 2023.
