Nori is a UK-based alternative grime artist and producer known for blending the foundational elements of grime—BPM, drum patterns, and sounds—with R&B and dance influences. His unique sound has been described by some as "video game grime," characterized by its fun, light-hearted, and dancy qualities. Since releasing his first Spotify song, "Pink Chanel," in 2020, Nori has focused on a more mellow, sampled grime style, while retaining his R&B roots and melodic preferences. A key endeavor for Nori is to contribute to the resurgence of grime music, akin to how PinkPantheress revitalized UK dance genres like jungle and garage. He aims to be recognized as a leading figure in grime, actively experimenting with the genre through his unique production and "grime flips."
