About Nini Music

Nini Music is a Taiwanese instrumentalist, songwriter, singer, musician, and producer renowned for her pioneering fusion of traditional Asian folk music with modern metal, rock, and EDM, often recognized as Taiwanese folk metal. She has dedicated over two decades to mastering traditional Chinese folk instruments like the Ruan, Liuqin, and San Xian, and also performs on a unique electric lute known as the DaoYu. Nini Music rose to prominence with her self-funded and self-produced solo folk metal EP, *LEGENDS*, in 2022, which tells stories of Asian folk legends and Taoist gods. Her electrifying performances, which blend ancient sounds with heavy metal, rock, and EDM, captivated audiences and judges during her appearance on America's Got Talent Season 19 in 2024, where she was dubbed "NiNi Van Halen" and "NiNi Hendrix". Her latest endeavors include the January 2025 release of "Gan Bei," a high-octane collaboration with Infernal Chaos, featuring traditional Chinese instruments and metalcore intensity. Nini is set to release a new solo album in early 2026, which promises to blend cross-cultural influences with heavier textures. In support of this album, she will embark on her first U.S. headline run, "The East Goes West Tour," beginning in April 2026.
