Nia Archives, born Dehaney Nia Lishahn Hunt in September 1999, is an English record producer, DJ, singer, and songwriter known for her vibrant contributions to jungle, drum and bass, and UK garage, often incorporating elements of neo soul, gospel, soul, and jazz. A self-made artist, she gained prominence by releasing her own music after struggling to find labels, and is recognized for her "neo-nostalgia" take on breakbeat and "cry in the club music" style, blending dark lyrical themes with sunny basslines. Her visual output, featuring nostalgic rave-style videos, is also a significant part of her artistry. Her discography includes critically acclaimed EPs such as *Headz Gone West* and *Forbidden Feelingz*, and *Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against The Wall* (2023), which topped the UK Dance Albums Chart. Nia Archives released her debut album, *Silence Is Loud*, in April 2024, which peaked at No. 16 on the UK Albums Chart. She has received significant recognition, including an NME Award for Best Producer and a MOBO for Best Electronic Artist. In January 2025, she was nominated for three BRIT Awards, including Best Dance Act and Artist of the Year. In her latest endeavors, Nia Archives launched her own record label, Up Ya Archives, in April 2025, intended as a platform for "new gen junglism". Coinciding with the label's launch, she released the new single "Get Loose" featuring Bristol newcomer Cheetah. She also collaborated with CLIPZ on the track "Maia Maia" in September 2025. Nia Archives continues to be a prominent figure on the live circuit, with scheduled performances including the "Up Ya Archives" stage at Chase & Status' All Points East all-dayer on March 31, 2025, and an "Up Ya Archives" takeover at Depot Mayfield in Manchester on November 15, 2025. She is also slated to perform at Love Saves The Day 2025 and Lightning In A Bottle 2026. Beyond music, she has been featured in campaigns for major brands such as Corteiz, Nike, and Burberry, and in publications like British Vogue, GQ, and Pitchfork.
