New Candys is an Italian alternative rock band formed in Venice in 2008, known for their neo-psychedelic, psychedelic rock, and space rock sound, characterized by fuzzed-out, hazy sonics that blend aggressive, gritty elements with dreamy, introspective tones. Their latest endeavor is their fifth album, 'The Uncanny Extravaganza,' released on May 30, 2025, via Fuzz Club, which further evolves their sound by incorporating electronic influences and cutting-edge production. The band, signed to Fuzz Club in 2024, has been actively touring, with UK dates in June 2025 and an appearance at the Fuzz Club Festival in Eindhoven. Looking ahead, New Candys has a tour scheduled for Spain and Portugal in April 2026, followed by a North American tour that includes a performance at Austin Psych Fest. They also have confirmed European dates in August and September 2026 in the Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, and Italy. Their music has gained notable attention, with Iggy Pop describing them as "kinky" and their songs being featured in the Showtime series *Shameless*.
