Nectar Woode is an English soul singer-songwriter and producer, born in Milton Keynes, who blends neo-soul, R&B, jazz, gospel, and indie pop with a distinctive soulful sound. Her music often features jazz-influenced chords and warm vocal harmonies, exploring themes of identity, self-discovery, and her British-Ghanaian heritage. She has garnered critical acclaim, with Elton John comparing her to Nina Simone. In her recent endeavours, Nectar Woode released her new single "Lights Off" in February 2026. She also performed at BRITs Week with Olivia Dean on February 26th, 2026, and announced a four-date European tour scheduled for May, including shows in London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin. In 2025, she released the EP *it's like I never left*, a project deeply inspired by her first trip to Ghana and her dual heritage.
