Nando Reis is a celebrated Brazilian musician, producer, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, born José Fernando Gomes dos Reis on January 12, 1963. He is widely recognized as the former bassist and one of the lead singers of the iconic Brazilian rock band Titãs, and for his highly successful solo career with his band Nando Reis & Os Infernais. His diverse musical style spans MPB, Brazilian rock, pop rock, alternative rock, folk rock, and post-punk, characterized by poetic lyrics and memorable melodies. Reis has released over 10 solo albums, selling more than 6 million copies, and has garnered two Latin Grammy awards and 12 nominations throughout his career. In recent endeavors, Nando Reis has maintained a busy schedule, including over 100 concerts annually. In 2023, he embarked on a historic, sold-out 12-stadium tour across Brazil with Titãs, marking the band's 40th anniversary. He also re-released his first solo album, "12 de janeiro," and concluded the "Nando Hits" and "PittyNando" tours. In 2024, he continued touring, with mentions of a potential North American tour. He has openly discussed his journey to sobriety, having been sober since 2016. Looking ahead, Nando Reis has upcoming concerts scheduled across Brazil in April, May, June, and November 2026. He also actively engages with fans through his YouTube channel, releasing new content every Wednesday and Friday, where he recently discussed his song "Depois de Amanhã" from his quad album "Uma Estrela Misteriosa" in April 2026.
