Myrath is a Tunisian progressive metal band known for its distinctive blend of progressive metal, folk metal, power metal, symphonic metal, and oriental metal, often referred to as "blazing desert metal". The band, formed in 2001, was the first from Tunisia to sign with an international record label. Myrath released their new album, "Karma," on March 8, 2024, described as a powerful and captivating fusion of Eastern melodies and Western heavy metal. More recently, they released a "Best Of" album titled "Reflections" on August 22, 2025, which compiles tracks from their last six records. Looking ahead, Myrath has announced their "Wilderness of Mirrors – First Strike" European tour for April 2026 and has various festival appearances scheduled through 2025.
