Mozzy is an American rapper from Oak Park, Sacramento, California, known for his raw, authentic lyrics that delve into West Coast hip-hop, trap, and gangsta rap, often reflecting the realities of street life. Born Timothy Cornell Patterson, he began his career as "Lil Tim," gaining significant recognition with his 2015 mixtape *Bladadah*. He has since signed with EMPIRE Distribution and Yo Gotti's Collective Music Group (CMG), an imprint of Interscope Records. In 2024, Mozzy released "Children of the Slums," a personal project chronicling the hardships of poverty, and collaborated with Kalan.FrFr on the album "Lucky Her," blending R&B, rider music, and street rap. His album "Intrusive Thoughts" was released on April 18, 2025, exploring his mental state and traumatic youth, featuring singles like "Under Oath" and "Nightmares" with Lil Poppa.
