Mother Vulture is a Bristol-based band known for their explosive and chaotic live performances, often described as a blend of fuzzy riff rock, garage rock, punk rock, and even elements of stoner punk and metalcore. They have garnered praise for their high-energy stage presence and refusal to conform to a single genre label, sometimes incorporating a more melodic, classic rock edge into their sound. The band continues their DIY ethos by self-releasing their music. Their latest major endeavor is the release of their sophomore album, "Cartoon Violence," which dropped on January 15, 2026. This album has been preceded by singles like "Treadmill," featuring a DIY music video, and "Phoenix," which coincided with a Gretsch Guitars campaign. Mother Vulture is supporting the new album with a full UK headline tour in early 2026, starting with an album release party in Exeter on January 31st and concluding in London on March 7th. They have previously appeared at festivals such as ArcTanGent, Bloodstock, and Steelhouse, and have supported acts like Skindred and Reef.
