Morat is a Colombian Latin pop-rock band formed in Bogotá, known for their vibrant fusion of pop colombiano and Latin pop, characterized by upbeat ballads, folk influences, catchy hooks, and delicate string arrangements. The band consists of Juan Pablo Isaza (guitars and vocals), Juan Pablo Villamil (banjo and vocals), Simón Vargas (bass and choruses), and Martín Vargas (percussion and choirs). They have achieved significant milestones, including amassing 20 billion streams and becoming the first Spanish pop band to reach this on Spotify Global, alongside earning 2 Diamond and 55 Platinum records. In their latest endeavors, Morat released their fourth studio album, "Si ayer fuera hoy," in November 2022, inspired by nostalgic songs from the early 2000s. In 2023, they dropped the single "Feo" and announced more new music was forthcoming. The band embarked on a historic "Morat: Los Estadios. Antes De Que Amanezca" tour in 2024, captivating over one million attendees across 24 stadiums in 14 countries. They made their highly anticipated debut at the prestigious Viña del Mar Festival in February 2025, where they were honored with both the Silver and Gold Seagulls awards. Morat's album "Ya es Mañana" was recognized as one of Billboard's Best Latin Albums of 2025. Their recent collaboration "Me Toca A Mí" with Camilo won Best Pop Rock Song at Premios Juventud 2025. Currently, Morat is continuing their "Asuntos Pendientes 2025" tour, visiting cities and places they were unable to include in their previous tour. Upcoming concerts are scheduled for October and November 2025 in locations such as Guadalajara, Mexico, Miami, FL, and Adeje, Spain. However, a concert scheduled for November 2024 in Caracas was cancelled due to a contractual dispute between the band and the promoter.
