Moon Idle is a Brighton-based band known for their sumptuous blend of trip-hop, alt-rock, and psychedelia, reminiscent of artists like Khruangbin and Massive Attack. The band crafts cinematic textures, tension, and intimacy into their lush, evocative, and ethereal alt-pop/trip-hop songs. The lineup includes Quilla Robinson on vocals, keyboard, and guitar, Martin Eddington on bass, Jasper Fergus on guitar, and Felix Burton on drums. In their latest endeavors, Moon Idle released their debut EP "Kindly" in late 2023. They performed at Mutations Festival in November and have announced plans to release new music in 2025, with a single titled "Godzilla" expected on October 3rd. Their live performances showcase a dynamic range, from mellow tracks to experimental pieces like "Godzilla" and "Delay Me," which incorporates elements from trip-hop to alt-rock.
