About the artist

Mona Yim is a Chinese-German producer, songwriter, and DJ known for her unique blend of bold beats, dreamy melodies, and raw emotion, encompassing modern house, electronic, alt-pop, and elements of traditional Chinese music. She recently released the high-energy club anthem "Make Up" and a four-track EP on Diynamic titled "See Me" in January 2024, which includes tracks like "Want U" and "Feel So". Mona Yim has also collaborated with Memphis LK on the alt-pop track "Thinkin Of U" released on Ninja Tune imprint Technicolour. Her endeavors include remixing works for artists such as Glass Animals, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and DJ Seinfeld, with her reinterpretation of "Tell Me One More Time" being a notable standout. She has supported Ben Böhmer at O2 Academy Brixton and UFO in Velodrome, was invited to join Hot Chip at Warehouse Project, and has performed at festivals like DGTL and Parklife in early 2023. Mona Yim has also been featured on BBC Radio 1 and Redbullradio UK, and was selected for ADAM Audio's 2020 scholarship program.
