About Model

Model was a Turkish rock band from İzmir, known for their alternative and pop rock sound, incorporating elements of Turkish pop and Anatolian rock. The band was initially formed as "A due Carmen" in 2005 by Okan Işık, Aşkın Çolak, and Can Temiz, with Fatma Turgut and Serkan Gürüzümcü joining in 2007, leading to the name change to Model in 2008. They gained popularity with songs such as "Buzdan Şato", "Değmesin Ellerimiz", and "Bir Melek Vardı", and released albums including *Perili Sirk* (2009), *Diğer Masallar* (2011), and *Levlâ'nın Hikayesi* (2013). The band disbanded in 2016 due to internal differences. However, Model is now returning with a surprise tour after a 10-year hiatus, bringing their beloved repertoire back to the stage. The reunion features iconic vocalist Fatma Turgut, bassist and composer Can Temiz, and guitarist Okan Işık. Upcoming tour dates have been announced for Istanbul, Izmir, and Ankara in May.
