Michael Bräuninger, known by his artist name Misanthrop, is an independent electronic music producer, DJ, and label owner (Neosignal Recordings) from Heilbronn, Germany. Since 2005, he has worked professionally as a drum-and-bass producer and, over the years, has released three solo albums, including "Misanthrop", "Analog", and "Universe". With over 20 years of relentless work on his own musical and artistic visions, he has made a name for himself in both audio and video production and has become a key figure in the international drum-and-bass scene. His unmistakable, energetic, timeless sound has earned him an impressive discography, including his solo albums as well as two collaboration albums (From Deep Space and Raum und Zeit), and successful EPs on labels such as RAM Records and Blackout. Releases on OWSLA, Mau5trap, Shogun, Critical, Division, Renegade Hardware, Shadow Law, Cyanide, and Subtitles Music round out his portfolio. As a DJ, Misanthrop has played in some of the most renowned clubs and at major festivals worldwide.
