Milo J, born Camilo Joaquín Villarruel in 2006 in Morón, Buenos Aires, is an Argentine rapper, singer, and songwriter known for his profound vocals and innovative blend of Latin R&B, trap, hip-hop, and elements of Argentine folk music. He gained widespread recognition in 2022 with his viral track "Milagrosa" and further solidified his status in 2023 through collaborations like "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 57" with Bizarrap. In recent endeavors, Milo J signed with Sony Music U.S. Latin in August 2025 and released his critically acclaimed third studio album, "La Vida Era Más Corta," in September 2025, which boldly fuses traditional Argentine folklore with contemporary urban sounds. His album featured singles such as "Niño" and "Bajo de la piel." In May 2026, he made history by becoming the youngest artist to win the prestigious Gardel de Oro (Golden Gardel Award) at the Premios Gardel, along with 12 other awards, including Album of the Year for "La Vida Era Más Corta" and Song of the Year for "Niño."
