Mia Mendi is a UK-based electronic music duo composed of James Oliver and Meti Mehmeti, active since 2013, known for their genre-fluid sound encompassing melodic techno, melodic house, and indie dance. Their distinctive style blends melancholic ambience with driving rhythms, characterized by precise lead melodies and impactful drops. The duo operates with a clear division of labor, with James focusing on live performances and Meti on studio production. In terms of recent endeavors, Mia Mendi has been actively releasing new music, including "Lights Don't Lie - Single" (April 17, 2026), "Lose Yourself" with Blake Light (January 9, 2026) on Armada Music, and singles like "Fade Away," "Angel Wings," and "Run Free" in 2026. They also marked an inflection point with their debut on Diynamic Music with 'Angel Wings'. The duo maintains an active touring schedule, with recent performances in Istanbul at Klein Phönix, and upcoming shows at Hï Ibiza on July 30th, as well as dates in Egypt and Mexico City in June and July 2026. Mia Mendi has expanded their global reach with performances across Dubai, Tokyo, Mumbai, and Amsterdam, and continue to release music on labels such as Watergate, Stil Vor Talent, and their own imprints, Hydera and Species.
