Melanie Ribbe is a German-born, Jamaican-raised DJ and producer renowned for her distinctive tech-house sound. She pursued her passion for music by studying at the London Academy of Music Production. Her career officially debuted at Miami Music Week in 2015, which led to a two-year residency at Amnesia Ibiza and performances at major festivals worldwide including Lollapalooza, Ultra Music Festival, and Elrow. Ribbe's music has been released on acclaimed labels such as Moon Harbour, Saved, Viva Limited, Mindshake, and Toolroom, with her track "Get It Right" climbing Beatport's Top 100. She has also collaborated with artists like Paco Osuna and Reboot. In 2020, Melanie Ribbe founded her own music label, Agápe Muzik, which has seen success, including reaching #1 on the Beatport Top 100 twice. She also hosts her radio show "Groove Nation" on Ibiza Global Radio and the monthly "Unlocked" show on Uncoded Radio. Her "UNLOCKED" concept has expanded into a global pop-up series, aiming to provide unique, intimate experiences focused on underground music. Looking ahead, Melanie Ribbe released her second full-length album, "Phoenix," in December 2024 via her Agápe Muzik imprint, featuring 12 tracks spanning minimal, deep tech, and house, and including collaborations with vocalist Javi Jamasmie. She has a series of international gigs lined up, with upcoming performances including a date at Pacha Ibiza in August 2024, a show in Brooklyn, New York in March 2025, and appearances in Berlin and Barcelona in June and July 2025. She also continues to work on new music, with a third album and further collaborations in the pipeline.
