Maxïmo Park is an English alternative rock band formed in 2000 in Newcastle upon Tyne. The band's sound, often categorized as indie rock, britpop, and post-punk revival, features Paul Smith's heartfelt vocals and lyrics. Maxïmo Park recently released their eighth studio album, "Stream of Life," on September 27, 2025. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their first album, "A Certain Trigger," a re-edition including a second disk of rarities is scheduled to be published on October 31.
