Matieu White

About the artist

Originally from Guadeloupe, singer Matieu White made a name for himself in 2017 with the track "Tan Mwen", followed two years later by the album Klass Soley, which unveils his distinctive blend of traditional Afro-Caribbean muisque and urban sounds like dancehall or rap. A style he developed through singles and collaborations with Rachelle Allison, Maurane Voyer, Lorenz, Kevni and Young Chang MC. Following the release of his album Para Bellum in 2021, he embarked on a tour that included an appearance at La Cigale in October 2022 and, with Larose, a contribution to Kevni's album Inevitab in 2023. Between tours, he records new songs such as "Pa nowmal" and "Coup de vent" for the Siwo EP, released in 2024.
