About Matheus & Kauan

Matheus & Kauan is a highly successful Brazilian musical duo composed of brothers Matheus Aleixo Pinto Rosa and Osvaldo Pinto Rosa Filho. Formed in 2010, they are prominent in the sertanejo, sertanejo universitário, arrocha, and agronejo genres, and are known for their distinctive voices and hit songs such as "O Nosso Santo Bateu," "Decide Aí," and "Te Assumi Pro Brasil". They also have a strong presence in songwriting, having penned hits for other renowned artists like Luan Santana, Jorge e Mateus, and Bruno e Marrone. In late 2025, Matheus & Kauan generated significant online buzz with an enigmatic video that hinted at a potential separation, which was later revealed to be a marketing strategy for their new musical projects. They recently launched the audiovisual project "Envolvente" in 2025, with tracks like "Marcas de Expressão," "Bora Hoje," "Muros," "Próximo Amor" (with Felipe & Rodrigo), and "Amanhã" released throughout the year. They also joined "The Voice Brasil" on SBT as coaches in 2025. Looking ahead, the duo is preparing to launch a new project titled "Astral," which includes a special collaboration with Lauana Prado. They have plans for many collaborations, re-recordings, and a special project celebrating their 15-year career, which is expected to be recorded in a football stadium and feature their greatest hits. In 2022, they were nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Sertanejo Music Album.
