Hailing from London, born in Porto, in the recent years Martim Rola has become a force to be reckoned with. His electrifying DJ sets seamlessly fuse melodic house & techno and afro house, igniting dancefloors with unmatched energy. His debut track “Odyssey” with it’s breakbeat brilliance, was released on the critically acclaimed french producer AMPISH’s Sidra Records. He then released “Prima Máteria” and “Joker” with London’s KONFLICT records. “Prima Máteria” features catchy vocals and euphoric progression, “Joker” accents gritty baselines and expansive chords. Joker’s popularity soared as it received support from renowned artists such as Solomun, Goom Gum, and Trikk. Martim’s most recent release “Luci” has arguably been one of the most infectious tracks of summer ‘23. The collaboration with heavyweight Arodes was supported by giants like Rüfüs Du Sol, Adriatique and Hernán Cattáneo. It was released with Rufus’ label Rose Avenue Records and reached the top 5 in Beatport’s electronica chart. Luci is an “uplifting cut with superb pads and an airy groove that fills you with emotion” as quoted by When We Dip Magazine. Summer ‘23 saw the debut of Martim playing at Pacha Ibiza, as well as sets at the iconic Cova Santa and Playa Soleil. Martim is indisputably taking the industry by storm, and there’s no doubt that his musical journey is poised for even greater heights in the future.
