About the artist

Mapess, a French rapper from Savigny-le-Temple (Seine-et-Marne), is of Comorian origin. He began to make a name for himself at the end of 2020 with his HASSAL series of freestyles. In 2021, he released his first project DOUBLE 7, followed by DOUBLE 7, Vol. 2 and NO FACE, a 14-track project. In July 2024, he unveils the VERSUS EP on the 140BRICKS label. This six-track project includes a collaboration with 1PLIKÉ140, highlighting his drill- and trap-influenced style.
