About the artist

Make Friends are a Bristol, UK-based indie band known for their progressive indie-pop sound, blending elements of Indie Pop, Pop Rock, and Alternative genres. They draw inspiration from acts like early Foals and Bombay Bicycle Club, creating complex, quirky indie-pop songs with a melodic flair. Their lyrics often explore themes of isolation and mental health. The band has garnered support from BBC Introducing and received Radio 1 Airplay for singles like 'Falter' and 'Fever', which led to a live session at Maida Vale Studios. In recent endeavors, Make Friends released their EP 'Loaded Fun' on September 13, 2024, which was produced by Ed Nash of Bombay Bicycle Club. This EP included singles such as 'Groans' (released July 9, 2024) and the title track 'Loaded Fun' (released April 16, 2024). They also released the single 'I Lose, You Lose' on August 15, 2024, and have an upcoming single titled 'Hand-Delivered' slated for release on April 18, 2025. The band is also currently working on their debut album with producer and co-writer Ed Nash.
