M4TR live history
AJ Solaris’ future wave art-pop project M4TR (Music 4 The Revolution) brings you good times for the end times. Merging synthpop, nu-disco, and funk with wit and social critique, the project explores modern collapse and cosmic rebirth through a high-fidelity electronic lens. In April 2026, AJ released Reimagination: The Remixes, Vol. 1, a collection of world-class dance collaborations with Billboard-topper Mr. Mig (Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake) and Grammy-winner Philip Larsen (Kylie Minogue, Soft Cell, Erasure, OMD). He is currently co-producing Vol. 2 for late 2026. This evolution follows M4TR’s acclaimed album Love Is The Revolution (2025) and a decade of sonic rebellion including Rock To Resist By, Next, and M4TR LIVE, reaching 2.8M+ streams on 4K+ playlists in 150 countries. AJ also released his sophomore ambient album Arkolyte II in 2026. He is working on three new albums simultaneously: On Winter’s Edge, down-tempo grooves on retreat and change; By Intelligent Design, a funky manifesto on AI’s impact on humanity; and How To Start A Fire, a high-energy return to the project’s activist roots. M4TR has performed solo and with two live bands in Washington DC and Chicago at Uncommon Ground, Gallery Cabaret, Jammin Java, Songbyrd Café, Pearl Street Warehouse, The Renegade, Public Bar Live, The Pocket, Cherry Blossom Festival, Adams Morgan Porchfest, Crossroads, BOOM Charlotte, Georgetown Fete de Musique and Launch Music Fest.
