M.O.P. (Mash Out Posse) is an influential East Coast and hardcore hip-hop duo from Brownsville, Brooklyn, composed of Lil' Fame (Jamal Grinnage) and Billy Danze (Eric Murray). They are celebrated for their raw, aggressive lyrical delivery and energetic sound, a style that has remained consistent throughout their career. The duo gained significant mainstream recognition with their hit single "Ante Up" from their 2000 album *Warriorz*. Lil' Fame is also a prolific producer under the alias Fizzy Womack, and the group has frequently collaborated with DJ Premier. In terms of recent endeavors, M.O.P. has continued to release new music. They dropped several singles in late 2024, including "KILLER" on November 15, 2024, and "PALM OF MY HANDS" on December 20, 2024. Their activity extended into 2025 with the singles "What We Talking Bout" (August 15, 2025), "NY GOATS" (November 28, 2025), and "Sidewalk Executives" (December 5, 2025). Individually, Lil' Fame released a new single titled "BOUT THAT LIFE" in September 2025. Billy Danze also put out "The Re-Listening Session" album in December 2021, featuring new tracks and collaborations with artists like Lil' Fame and Method Man. Looking ahead, M.O.P. is scheduled for several "25th Anniversary of Warriorz" tour dates in the United Kingdom in May 2026. The hip-hop community also mourned the passing of Foxx, M.O.P.'s former tour manager and affiliate, in August 2024.
