Lusaint is a Manchester-based singer-songwriter known for her melodic blend of soul, jazz, blues, and pop, often described as soul-pop. Inspired by artists like Billie Holiday and Nina Simone, her distinctive and timeless voice, coupled with emotional depth and captivating melodies, has drawn comparisons to Adele and Amy Winehouse. Lusaint first gained widespread recognition for her viral covers, notably breaking the UK record for most Shazams in a single day with her rendition of En Vogue's "Don't Let Go" and achieving over 45 million YouTube views for her cover of "Wicked Game." In her latest endeavors, Lusaint released the single 'Love Bites Back' in March 2026. Her upcoming EP, "The Apothecary (Pt. 2)", is scheduled for release on April 17, 2026, featuring tracks like 'Waterfalls' and 'Shoot You Dead'. She is currently embarking on her first EU & UK headline tour throughout Spring 2026, with planned stops in Manchester and London.
