LUIZA is a French-Brazilian artist whose music blends French pop and chanson traditions with Brazilian rhythms, dub, tropical music, world music influences, and electronic sensibilities. Born in Rennes, France, to a jazz double bassist father and a contemporary dancer mother, she developed a diverse sound influenced by her heritage and time spent in Brazil and on Réunion island. LUIZA gained significant recognition in France in summer 2025 with the viral hit "Soleil Bleu," a collaboration with electronic duo Bleu Soleil, which topped Spotify's Viral 50 France. Her debut solo EP, "Fantastik," was released in spring 2025, followed by her self-titled album "Luiza" in 2026. She has also released recent singles like "Jet Lag" (2026) and "Etincelles" (2025). LUIZA continues to tour extensively, with numerous concert dates scheduled across France through 2026 and 2027, and was nominated for the Victoires de la Musique 2026.
