Lost//Youth is entering a new era as an acoustic duo. Originally known as a 4 piece alt/rock band with 90s grit and dynamic melodies, the Cape Town based group are now turning towards a more intimate and storytelling performance. At the heart of the project is Alanna Joy’s ethereal, emotive vocals and vulnerable lyricism, and paired with Faghri Hendricks’ intricate alt guitar riffs, the result is timeless and otherworldly. Though their sound has taken on new shape, the essence of Lost//Youth remains honest, evocative and ever evolving.
