Loe Shimmy, born Shamar Williams Cox, is an American rapper from Pompano Beach, Florida, known for his unique blend of "sexy drill" and "groovy trap" music. His style combines melodic South Florida rap with raw, emotional lyrics, a laid-back delivery, and a distinctive "wobbly nasal croak," drawing influences from Detroit beats, R&B, and Caribbean rhythms. Loe Shimmy has been busy with recent endeavors, including being selected as a 2025 XXL Freshman and opening for Lil Baby's WHAM tour in 2025. In 2025, he released his album *Rockstar Junkie*, featuring the Billboard Hot 100 charting single "3am" with Don Toliver. More recently, he was featured on Drake's 2026 album *HABIBTI* with the track "I'm Spent" and released the singles "Body Dangerous" and "No Mileage" in 2026.
