Lina Makoul is a leading Palestinian singer- songwriter and creative based in occupied Palestine. Renowned for her unique blend of contemporary and traditional music and her abstract visual representation for her unique life story, she stands out as one of the most influential independent artists in the region, celebrated for her innovative and heartfelt performances. A multifaceted artist, Makoul oversees every aspect of her career, from self-management and songwriting to funding, production, direction, and styling her image and music videos. She first rose to fame in 2013 by challenging the system and winning the second season of "The Voice Israel" at 19, becoming the first and only Palestinian to achieve this in a mainstream Israeli reality show. Despite a notable career opening for Queen + Adam Lambert, Little Mix, Will Smith, and DJ Jazzy Jeff, she has pursued a fully independent Arabic music career since 2020, focusing on narrating her people's stories, exploring her political identity through personal healing. In 2024 Lina joint forces with Middle Eastern sensation Saint Levant on his Deira World Tour touring over 30 Western cities in America, Canada, Europe, and the United Kingdom.
