Lil Pump, born Gazzy Garcia, is an American rapper who gained prominence in the late 2010s as a leading figure in the SoundCloud rap scene, known for his energetic trap and punk rap style, minimalist music, and boisterous public persona. His music often features repetitive hooks, heavy bass, and themes of opulence, with his breakout hit "Gucci Gang" reaching widespread success in 2017. In recent endeavors, Lil Pump released his third studio album, *Lil Pump 2*, on March 17, 2023. More recently, in August 2025, he publicly shared details of a severe car accident where he "almost lost his life" and expressed a renewed sense of religious gratitude. He also released the official music video for "Smoke Wit Us" with Smokepurpp in May 2025 and performed "Nephew" live at the Beach, Please! 2025 festival in July 2025. Prior to this, in late 2023, he was noted for his presence at Donald Trump rallies and initiating political chants. Lil Pump has also faced financial challenges, including tax liens and a lawsuit, leading to the sale of his Miami Beach mansion in late 2023.
