Buy tickets for Lil Peep concerts: emo rap • cloud rap
Lil Peep, born Gustav Elijah Åhr, was an American rapper and singer-songwriter recognized as a leading figure in the emo rap and cloud rap subgenres, blending elements of hip hop, emo, trap, pop-punk, and alternative rock. His music, often described as gloomy and melodic, explored themes of depression, anxiety, heartbreak, drug use, loneliness, and suicide, resonating deeply with youth subcultures. Following his passing in 2017, Lil Peep's estate has continued to release his extensive catalog of unreleased music. Recent endeavors include the re-release of his *Feelz EP* and mixtape *Live Forever* in 2022. In 2023, the collaboration with iLoveMakonnen, "November," was released, along with their 2017 collaborative album *Diamonds*, and the *Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2 (OG Version)*. More recently, in March 2024, the previously unreleased EP *Hate Me* was released, followed by the re-release of the collaborative EP *Teen Romance* in June 2024, and his debut mixtape *Lil Peep; Part One* in September 2024. On what would have been his 28th birthday, November 1, 2024, the estate released the song "Latitude," one of the first tracks he ever made. These posthumous releases, alongside a documentary titled *Everybody's Everything* in 2019, continue to celebrate his legacy.
