LIGHTCHAPTER live history: melodic death metal
LIGHTCHAPTER is a Danish melodic death metal band formed in Jutland in 2020, known for their "Electro Death Metal" style which fuses groovy death metal with 80s cinematic synth vibes and industrial rhythms. Comprised of four experienced musicians, the band blends brutal aggression with sophisticated, refined melodies, exploring themes of despair, anger, and hope. They released their EP "It All Ends Tonight" in 2022, followed by their debut album "Time To Obey" in 2023. Their latest endeavors include the upcoming release of their second album, "Where All Hope Begins," on September 26th. This new album was produced in collaboration with legendary producer Tue Madsen. LIGHTCHAPTER has also been active on the live circuit, having toured Denmark, performed in Germany, and appeared at festivals such as SPOT, Uhørt, Aalborg Metal Festival, and Copenhagen Metal Fest. They are scheduled to perform at Copenhell 2026 and Mejerhell 2026 on August 21st. In June 2025, they released a new version of their track "Little Death," titled "Reemplaza Mi Rabia," featuring a collaboration with Syracusæ and Spanish lyrics.
