letlive. is an American post-hardcore band from Los Angeles, known for their energetic and emotionally charged blend of hardcore, punk, R&B, and soul, along with experimental rock and art punk elements. Formed in 2002, the band, fronted by vocalist Jason Aalon Butler, released four full-length albums and one EP before announcing their breakup in April 2017 due to differing views among members. After the hiatus, Butler went on to form other projects like Fever 333. However, in 2024, letlive. announced a revival with plans for a global "sincerely yours," farewell tour throughout 2025, aiming to conclude the band's journey on better terms. This reunion lineup features Butler alongside returning guitarists Jean Francisco Nascimento and Jeff Sahyoun, joined by touring musicians Sage Webber on drums and Skyler Acord on bass. The band is scheduled to perform at events like the 2025 When We Were Young Festival. Furthermore, in a June 2026 interview, Jason Aalon Butler indicated that the possibility of new music from letlive. has been discussed, as the members are enjoying playing together again.
