LEON is an acclaimed Italian DJ and producer known for his deep, groovy, and driving tech house sound, with influences spanning house and techno. Originating from Teramo and shaped by the vibrant scenes of Rome and Riccione, his passion for electronic music ignited in the '90s, drawing inspiration from legends like Todd Terry, Danny Tenaglia, and Laurent Garnier. Throughout his extensive career, LEON has released music on prestigious labels including Cocoon, 8bit, Hot Creations, Crosstown Rebels, Cecille, and Viva, earning widespread support from global heavyweights such as Carl Cox, Luciano, and Steve Lawler. He is a staple at renowned clubs and festivals worldwide, holding residencies at Marco Carola's Music On Ibiza and Cocoricò in Italy. In his latest endeavors, LEON launched his own label, Futura Records, in 2022, which focuses on vinyl releases and experimental sounds, and also functions as a touring party with dates in major cities like London, Ibiza, Amsterdam, and New York. He has maintained a prolific release schedule in 2025, with tracks like "Get Faster" on Pitch Records featured in Beatport's Weekend Picks, and collaborative releases such as "Keep On Feel" and "Time To Change" on Moody Disco making Beatport's Top 100 Minimal / Deep Tech chart. Additionally, he released the single "Get Closer" on ThreeSixZero Records in March 2025, and the high-energy club anthem "No Excuses" on the same label in March 2025. A new EP was also released through Laguna Music in January 2025, which he discussed in an exclusive interview with Mixmag Brazil. His track "The Snake," produced in 2023, also saw its release in 2025, showcasing a funkier yet energetic facet of his sound. LEON continues to be an active presence on dancefloors globally.
