Lege-Cy, born Mahmoud Osama Abdelaziz on April 15, 1996, is an Egyptian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer from Tanta, known for his introspective lyrics and a unique melancholic sound that fuses hip-hop, trap, soul, R&B, jazz, and boom-bap with Egyptian cultural influences. He maintains complete creative control over his music, often self-producing his work and releasing it through his own eponymous record label. His career gained early momentum with his 2018 debut single "2:00 AM" and subsequent EPs "191-181" (2018) and "Agzakhana" (2020). In recent endeavors, Lege-Cy has been quite active. In January 2026, he made a notable appearance on the TV show "Sahibet El Saada" with Esaad Younis, where he discussed his artistic journey and performed his tracks "Aalam Kaddaba" and "El Waqt El Daye'." He also released several new singles in 2026, including "Wala Meen (Remix)", "Kan 3ala 3eny (Red Bull Mazzika Salonat)", "3ein Se7reya", "Msh Awl Marra", and the "Law Nasyany [ASHHAB Remix]". The year 2025 saw the release of his album "BGD" and singles such as "3alam Kadaba" (from the TV series "Ma Trah Lays Kama Ybdo"), "LAW NASYANY", "WALA MEEN", "Tero7 Le Meen", and "KALEMENY BELEL". Additionally, he dropped several music videos in 2025, including "EHDAA (FREESTYLE)", "HACIENDA (FREESTYLE)", "INTRO", "KHAMSA FEL MEYYA BAS", "MANZZAR", and "SWISSRA". In 2024, he released his album "Placebo" and singles like "El Neyya" and "El Waat El Daye3", alongside the track "CENTER" accompanied by an official music video. Lege-Cy has also engaged in significant collaborations with artists like Muhab, Batistuta, MOUSV, Marwan Pablo, and Wegz.
