Le Trio Joubran is a renowned Palestinian oud trio comprised of brothers Samir, Wissam, and Adnan Joubran, celebrated for their virtuosity and modern interpretation of traditional Arabic music. Hailing from Nazareth, they are distinguished for their unique, intuitive style that blends complex compositions with atmospheric pieces and rapid-fire improvisation on the oud, often incorporating elements like synths, piano, flute, strings, and voices in their more contemporary works. In their latest endeavors, Le Trio Joubran has been actively involved in humanitarian efforts, dedicating recent tour proceeds to charities operating in Gaza, including the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. They also headlined the Palestinian charity event Echoes of Peace in Switzerland in June 2024. The trio is set to release a new version of their collaboration with Roger Waters, "Supremacy," before October 2024. Their recent performances include sold-out concerts such as one at the Philharmonie de Paris in November 2024 and in Sharjah in December 2024. They were also recently honored with the prestigious title of Officer of the French Legion d'Honneur civilian award. Their music, which frequently underscores Palestinian identity and the broader human experience, continues to resonate globally, often featured in social media content related to Palestine, and serving as a powerful expression of resistance and healing. A new single, "Alternative Silence," was released on October 16, 2024. Additionally, their "20 Printemps" concert, celebrating their artistic journey, was recorded at La Halle aux Grains in Toulouse and is available on Qwest TV. Adnan Joubran also has upcoming solo performances, including at Wembley Arena's "Together for Palestine" event on September 17, 2025, and with the trio at the Barbican Centre on November 29, 2025.
